Hidden Gem

Deep within the woods, as if carved from the landscape itself, is a very private and unique summer home created by DeStefano Architects.

Utilizing a one story design DeStefano was able to create a feeling of expansive and welcoming volume within an efficient floor plan. Other architectural signatures include multiple rooflines colliding on the exterior to form cathedral ceilings within and the use of earth tones and textures to create a spacious yet intimate feeling throughout. Keeping in mind the occasional want of privacy, the home is also divided into two separate wings flowing smoothly into the central family/kitchen living area.

Intended for summer entertaining, every room features a direct connection to the outdoors not just a view, but an egress into several distinct outdoor areas such as the east garden, which is arranged perfectly for breakfasts in the morning sun, and a pool yard accessible from the master bed and bathroom, guest wing and main living spaces.

Providing creative design options to suit the unique lifestyle of every client is DeStefano Architects top priority. As a result, this well designed home reflects the personality of its owner, allowing them, their families and their guests to make the most of each summer day.
